I'm writing with regard to the 50th birthday celebration which took place at the Vine on the evening of 12th July, which you kindly hosted for us at short notice.
The Moroccan Room was beautiful, intimate and perfect for our small gathering of family and close friends. The food was delious as well as plentiful and the waiter you assigned to us was attentive and discreet.
We felt very welcome and well looked after and will recommend you and your establishment to everyone we know who is looking for that special venue to hold that event.
Thank you for making Niki's 50th birthday celebration an evening to remember and treasure, with the hospitality that you all effortlessly and kindly showered upon us.

We'd just like to say again, thanks very much for a really excellent job on Saturday. The garden looked great, the food was very good and your staff all did an excellent job. Dear Tony,
I just wanted to write to say a couple of things re lunch today @ 12 for 21 people.
The food was excellent, I had several people comment on how much they had enjoyed the food and the choice of menu. Please pass our compliments to the chef. I expect you will see many of them again.
Service was excellent, thanks to your staff who were so helpful - especially in wrapping up the 2 no-shows! Timing was also excellent.
I myself have visited you for lunch before several times and I have always found food & service excellent.

All our guests commented on the excellent quality of the food, which was an achievement in itself considering you were serving over 30 people on an a la carte basis! Your staff were efficient and cheerful helping to create a very pleasant

Where do i start?
Well, i guess at the beginning would be a good place, but i am not going to.
As my new wife and i sipped on our champagne at the hotel we had booked, we began the inevetable review of the day.
After raving about how much fun we had at the ceremony, and me explaining that i have never perspired so much without having a hangover, we got to the reception; which you guessed it, was at the VINE.
Tony (manager) and the staff were on full show.
The night went without a hitch and to be perfectly honest, was more than we could have ever imagined.
Tony organised an upstairs room for the immediate family members to chill and relax and discuss the past goings on and the future ones also.
The service in the upstairs area was brilliant, and the ambience upstairs only adds to this gem of an establishment.
Once we were down stairs we felt like a guest.
Not once was i approached by one of our guests in regards to a complaint or a question. The only comments were; "this place is awesome! How did you find it?"
The food was perfect and the service impeccable. I would highly recommend a buffet style menu with the salmon and roast beef. You should top this off with a brilliantly prepared cheese platter.
The crowd were kept happy by the staff with their understated keeness to provide the best possible service.
Tony 's ability to put our minds at ease was the key for us (especially the better half). From the wine tasting a week before, to the celebratory shots at the bar with the staff during the evening all simply added to making our wedding day the best party we have ever been to!
Thanks loads to the chef and his staff for serving a simply devine menu.
And finally, thank-you not only to Tony for delivering on his promise, but to all the staff involved in our evening, only this phrase can sum up the job done by the Vine, BL**DY BRILLIANT!!
